Call it dirty, call it polluted.. but there really is no place like Karachi! Its been raining loads since yesterday.. and though Karachi ain't exactly 'made for' baarish, its been great!
I took random pictures earlier.. cuz: a) i love the rain - and we don't get to see it much .. b) there was no light, and i had nothing to do .. and c) it was pretttyy!!! :p

I repeat, Karachi aint made for the rains.. there was no electricity for over 24 hours at most places, horrible traffic jams.. n lots n lots of puddles!!
Btw, at this house, there were these two little girls who'd been shouting n screaming alll day to be allowed to go out.. cuz they wanted to sail paper boats in this puddle outside!! So, all day we could hear them, n the mum shouting 'Andar aajao sharaafat se.. aapko kuch samajh nahi aata!' :p
Messy neighbours i guess, that's what happens if you don't clean up on time.. :p

Hey your first picture of the birdie on the lamp post is almsot same as the one I send you yesterday. What a coincidence!! I love the beach, the sky, the clouds in that one.
My Uncle went to Karachi and liked it though he liked Lahore more (don't hit me now)

Second picture really shows how rainy it must have been. Sadly, we don't get these kinda rains out here and I miss it.
Chowkidar looks like in trouble and Reema jee is clicking the poor man's picture instead of offering some help like saving it in some boat or something...lol

yep, its crazy having water in karachi.. cant tell where the roads are dug up! plus the mishaps n all that hav been happening.. we hav flooded underpasses now, lol!!

Lahore punjabiyan da sheher hain na, tee lassi is punjabi drink. So, you can't beat the lassi of Lahore or Amritsar :D
