On Public Demand.. :p

I am very motivated to write (despite being stuck with dialup, and having to live without internet.. *sigh*), but there isn’t much I've been doing as late.. Thank God for summer vacations! :D

There were lots of plans.. Lots of things I’d made up my mind to make sure I make myself do.. lol, none has been done as yet.. I’ve been off for almost 2 months, and I have about 3 weeks to go only!

But its alright, cuz I know once I get back to college, i'll be working my brains off anyways (yep, till the last possible second.. :p), so I deserve a break.. yes I do!!

I thought I’d learn how to drive – but I’m in absolutely no mood, and am too late anyways, they aren’t registering new people.. And the only time the school’s willing to offer is 1-2; in this heat.. No thank you!!

I thought I’d clean up my room - haha.. I plan that every year! :p but there isn’t much wrong with my room you know.. Except for the ages old school books lying around, the zillions of novels, the audio tapes all over, the clothes.. bas, nothing else.. ohh n yesh, inches of dust too!! :D .. Not really, but that’s what mum says! :p

I thought I’d become a good girl and wake up by 10 in the morning max, then help out mum around the house – umm, but I’m on vacation naa!! :/

Surprisingly though, I never thought I’d develop an interest in learning how to cook.. Which I think is pretty cool! I never was that sort, but its interesting stuff.. And u can kinda get addicted to the idea! Haven’t done much though, aim to do quite a bit.. Lets see how that turns out.. I’m definitely enrolling into these kinda cool cooking classes soon though!

I’ve also stuck to teaching ‘my baccha’, the 8th grade kid who comes to me for help with his studies.. And he’s improved loads in math and English.. so that’s something achieved!

I started ‘Lala land’ and I’m sure that qualifies as doing something new – public writing/speaking, basically making myself heard in front of people has always been a major weak point.. Though I’m very comfy in casual talk; this is something I’ve been trying to overcome for a long time, and my blog is another step forward!

I’ve been having a blast with my nephew as of late, and he’s learning all these words from me - that sound very funny when he says them in his ‘Uff, im veryy british’ accent (!) - For those who don’t know, my li’l baby is 2 and a half.. N an absolute jaan MashAllah!, he’s learning stuff like ‘museebat’ ‘stuupid!’ ‘gandi baat’ ‘mera baccha meri jaan’.. All from me!! :D

I’ve also had an absolutely amazing time meeting up with my friends – old new, all of you.. N its been great.. Cuz when Uni’s on, time hee nahi milta!

.. Not bad, when I think of it, the summer hasn’t exactly been a waste.. Not really I guess, I’m happy!! :)
